AT least seven people are dead after a horrific crash on an interstate in Albany, Oregon.
Oregon State Police said that seven adults were dead and several other people were injured following the crash on I-5.
Two semi trucks and a car were involved in the crash at around 2.05pm, police said.
All northbound lanes of I-5 North have been shut down as first responders investigate.
The crash happened near the Santiam Rest Area.
A Life Flight helicopter was spotted leaving the scene at around 2.45pm.
Long delays are to be expected and police are asking drivers to use an alternate route.
