Georgia Governor Should Declare Unborn Babies ‘Persons’ and Shut Down All Abortuaries

The following article, Georgia Governor Should Declare Unborn Babies ‘Persons’ and Shut Down All Abortuaries, was first published on The American Vision.

“A federal judge permanently blocked Georgia’s 2019 pro-life ‘heartbeat’ law, which prohibits abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, ruling that it violates the Constitution.”

Governor Brian Kemp says that he’s going to appeal the unconstitutional and anti-life decision. Don’t appeal. Just shut down the places doing abortions. Treat abortion the way slavery should have been treated. Don’t wait on the Federal government or the courts. Do the right thing, Gov. Kemp. Close all abortion facilities. You have that right under the Tenth Amendment. You took an oath before God. You must obey God rather than men on a life issue.

There is fear among today’s political leaders when they hear that Hollywood is threatening to pull projects from Georgia should the so-called ‘heartbeat’ abortion ban bill be signed into law.

If women in Georgia want to kill their unborn children, let them go to another state to do it and make the pro-abortion supporters pay for the murders and supply the transportation funds.

It’s long past time to end the charade that unborn babies are not persons.

Others around the nation are also beginning to recognize this fact. In this video, Rep. Walt Blackman in Arizona makes it clear that abortion is murder and that citizens have a duty to help abolish it.

Our nation is revved up over black lives mattering. There’s talk of reparations. Statues and monuments of former slave owners have been defaced and torn down.

Slavery was a national evil. The American people paid a heavy price for its dissolution—750,000 deaths and many more wounded in a civil war that we are still fighting. Unborn black lives matter as do Asian, Hispanic, mixed-race, and so-called white unborn babies.

Once again, a judged has overruled the decision of a duly elected group of legislators. Some governor needs to take a stand. The time is now. Actually, it was a long time ago.

The Gateway to Liberty

No amendment is of more practical importance than our Tenth Amendment for protecting what remains of our liberty and recovering the huge percentage of liberty that previous generations, and we ourselves, have surrendered to the Federal Leviathan.

Prior to the Civil War the Supreme Court ruled that African slaves that were transported here against their will were not persons. The crime was two-fold. First, the biblical prohibition against manstealing was violated (Ex. 21:16), and second, the courts failed to recognize the imago dei—the image of God—in our black neighbors. The command is clear. We are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Mark 12:30–31; also, Deut. 18:19), and unborn babies are our neighbors.

Instead of first loving God and then our black neighbors, the court denied God and dehumanized our black neighbors:

On March 6, 1857, in the case of Dred Scott v. John Sanford, United States Supreme Court Chief Justice Roger B. Taney ruled that African Americans were not and could not be citizens. Taney wrote that the Founders’ words in the Declaration of Independence, “all men were created equal,” were never intended to apply to blacks. Blacks could not vote, travel, or even fall in love and marry of their own free will — rights granted, according to the Declaration, by God to all. It was the culmination of ten years of court battles — Dred Scott’s fight to live and be recognized as a free man.

The reason that black people could not vote, travel, or even fall in love and marry of their own free will was because the government wouldn’t permit it. The same is true of unborn babies. Unborn babies are denied the right to live by corrupt judges and legislators.

God made it so unborn babies would be “sanctuaried” in the womb where they are to be protected by their mother, and if their mother takes steps to kill her unborn baby, it is the duty of the civil magistrate to put a stop to it.

The first place to stop the murder is to shut down the places where women go to kill their unborn babies. England stopped slavery by stopping the slave trade. Stop abortion by declaring it illegal and closing the killing centers.

The Federal Government is not God. The Constitution does not make any provision for abortion. There is no “right to privacy” that allows a woman to kill her unborn baby.

Stop fiddling with unjust judges. Stop abortion now!
