A STYLE fan has discovered a viral fashion hit does not necessarily make it a hit for her.
She tried out a PLT corset which has enjoyed huge popularity online.
But when she tried it on, she was self-conscious because it made her chubby bits bulge out.
No matter how much she sized up, the effect was the same.
This fashionista even had to “tuck in” her skin, which wasn’t great for her self-esteem.
But commenters to Livv Louisee’s (@livvlouisee) post were quick to reassure her.

It wasn’t just her, they said, and even affected those with different body shapes too.
One of them said: “It’s completely normal. I have the same top in red and it does the same for me too and I’m a size 6 and flat-chested.”
Livv has 116,000 followers on her TikTok where she advocates “body positivity.”
But even she struggled with that attitude as she tried out the corsets in her video.

She tried on two different sizes of the $29 black Bandage Hook and Eye Structured Corset from PLT, first a burnt orange version, and then one in an umber color.
“My reality of wearing the PLT corsets,” she said, grimacing slightly.
She tried on the orange first and she wasn’t very happy: “It makes my chubby bits bulge out.”
It was a reminder to her why she avoided these sort of tops: “I never wear corsets for this reason.”
So, she tried a larger version to see if that fared any better.
“No matter how much I size up it just accentuates my top arms,” she said despairing.
She attempted to push and prod her flesh to no avail: “Trying to tuck it in,” she said.
Then added: “I need to work on my arm insecurity.”
She conceded they could look amazing, but not on her: “But they would 100% look fire. I’m just not a corset girl and that is okay.”
Commenters begged to disagree, however.
One person said: “If you hadn’t pointed it out I promise you no one would have even noticed. You look gorgeous. It suits you.”

It was even an issue for women with different shapes: “I’m slim and this happens to me with corsets. But they look good on you, you look amazing.”
This viewer had sympathy: “They look great on you but understand you have to feel comfortable.”
