JOY Behar has snapped at her executive producer on The View for trying to sneak in the “dumbest” Hot Topic idea onto the show last week.

The two clashed as he called her out right back for killing his idea just before the hosts were set to discuss it live on air.

After Wednesday’s episode of The View, Joy sat down with executive producer Brian Teta on the show’s Behind the Table podcast.

Toward the end of the duo’s conversation, Brian revealed to listeners there was a topic that the hosts weren’t able to get to.

He explained that it was “about a woman who got revenge on her cheating ex by posting his dead mother’s secret recipe.” 

Joy quickly fired: “That is the dumbest, stupid topic.” 

The EP told her he already knew how she felt about it as she “killed it in the moment” and wouldn’t allow it as a Hot Topic.

“I did, I killed it,” Joy admitted. “If I had been in the meeting, this one, it would’ve never even been on the list.”

Brian snapped back: “You were supposed to be in the meeting, you just didn’t feel like coming.” 

In response, Joy told him she didn’t go because she thought he would’ve chosen a much more “interesting” topic.

He continued to defend his suggestion by explaining they only had about two minutes of air time to fill and needed a quick topic, but Joy still wasn’t having it.

This isn’t the first time the two have clashed – both on the live show or on its podcast.

Joy recently called out Brian for mocking her age during an episode of the audio series.

“How does the hatred now compare to… say the Boston Tea Party?” he teasingly asked.

Joy cracked up and threw right back at him: “Well, you should know. You were there too.”

“Sorry. I love those jokes,” Brian said. “Like when you dated Lincoln.”

Joy said she used to do it to the old producer and now Brian does it to her.

“We all dated Lincoln at one point,” she joked.
