But the Chiefs activated McKinnon, 31, on Saturday in a potentially huge boost to their championship bid, per NFL insider Adam Schefter.

However, Schefter added, Kansas City is yet to decide whether the former third-round NFL pick will face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

His availability will likely be a “pre-game decision” the insider said.
