According to the police report exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, Robert Cosby Jr. was chased by police after initially throwing a case of beer cans into a dumpster behind a local Best Buy on March 21, 2022.

The police noticed he was not following road rules after leaving the parking lot, such as “not signaling to turn right” and not staying in one lane while driving on a Utah highway.

The officer, at first, had trouble getting Rob to pull over, but then the reality star’s only child eventually pulled into a police station.

Per the report, Rob informed the officer that he “did not have a driver’s license” and said “he had not been drinking and does not drink alcohol.”

However, he admitted he “has recently in the past taken some oxycontin, Xanax, and smoked marijuana.”

The officer noted in the report, after looking up his history: “Robert had a suspended driver’s license due to an alcohol violation and his license was currently suspended.”

FAILING SOBRIETY TESTS

The officer made Rob complete field sobriety tests (FST), which he complied with, but failed the tasks.

According to the officer’s notes, Rob “stepped off [the] line several times, missed Heel to toe several times… [and] never counted his steps out loud.”

The officer then had Rob take a breathalyzer test and the young adult blew “triple zeros.”

This prompted the officer to arrest him for DUI.

After being handcuffed and searched for weapons and contraband, Rob was placed in the patrol vehicle where he was then taken to be processed.

The officer added that Rob later took a blood test and that while this was going on, animal control had to come to take custody of his dog who was in his vehicle with several of Rob’s friends.

The police officer concluded in his narrative: “I then called Robert’s mother to respond to the location to take custody of him instead of transporting him to jail.”

Mary, 51, then arrived and took custody of him “to ensure his safety.”

MORE CHARGES

Rob was ultimately charged for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper right turn, driving on suspension alcohol related, and failure to operate within a single lane.

In September 2022, during the TV personality’s disposition, he pleaded not guilty to all four charges, according to court documents exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun.

While all the charges, except for his DUI, were dismissed with prejudice, he was found guilty of driving under the influence.

Following a hearing in February 2023, Rob was fined $1,610 and was placed under 12 months probation.

He was ordered no consumption of alcohol for the term; no spice, ivory wave or items of that nature; and no use of non-prescribed controlled substances or over-the-counter medicine.

In addition, as part of his probation, he was ordered to complete 30 days of home confinement with no release “except for treatment, work and testing” as well as a 16-week substance abuse treatment program with random UA/ETG (Urine Ethylglucuronide) testing.

The case is still ongoing and he has another hearing this month.

VIOLATING PROBATION?

In since-deleted Instagram posts, Robert and his new wife, Alexiana, posted numerous photos with what appears to be marijuana, prescription codeine syrup and pills.

Starcasm posted the photos from the couple’s Instagram accounts, which both have been deactivated since then.

According to the website, Mary’s son’s Instagram account was “full of dozens and dozens of photos and videos in which he can be seen with prescription bottles for codeine and promethazine hydrochloride cough syrup and/or bottles and cups of a ‘purple drink’ being mixed with Sprite and other clear sodas.”

The RHOSLC star has not addressed her son’s drug use or past arrests and neither has her husband, Robert Cosby Sr.
