CHELSEA fans are bemoaning Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s departure after he scored a hat-trick for AC Milan.
The midfielder was one of several stars to leave Stamford Bridge in Chelsea’s summer clearout.
Loftus-Cheek, 27, joined Milan for around £15million and signed a long-term deal with the Italian giants.
And he has hit the ground running by netting a hat-trick in a pre-season win over Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
Some fans have reacted by praising the Cobham academy graduate and rue the club’s decision to let him leave.
To make matters worse for supporters Loftus-Cheek combined with another former Chelsea player, Christian Pulisic, to score his first.
One fan reacted saying: “That’s a talent we lost 😢”
Another added: “So talented. Wasn’t given the chances in his best position at Chelsea after his injury.”
A third wrote: “Am I the only one regretting this? Lol I never wanted him to leave.”
And another commented: “No surprises there he is class.”
